Frequently Asked Questions
Here are answers to the questions I get asked most often about my artwork, framing, and ordering. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, feel free to reach out.
Artwork & Prints
It’s a unique process where I use a traditional kite to lift my camera into the sky, capturing aerial views from a perspective that other aerial methods can’t achieve. Each piece offers a one-of-a-kind view of the world from above.
My work is available on three premium surfaces: metal (aluminum), canvas, and paper. Each brings out the beautiful qualities in the photograph. You can choose the option that best suits your space.
All metal and canvas prints come ready to hang whether you choose a frame or not. Paper prints are ready to hang when ordered with a frame.
Yes, I can often create custom sizes in addition to what’s listed on my website, as long as the proportions stay true to the original image. If you have a specific size in mind, just reach out and I’ll let you know what’s possible.
Framing & Display
Frame options vary by size and print surface. All metal and canvas pieces can be ordered with a frame, and most paper prints as well. A few of the larger paper sizes aren’t available with a frame, but they can be easily framed by your local frame shop.
A float frame surrounds the artwork with a small gap, giving the impression that the photograph is suspended inside the frame. It’s a clean, gallery style presentation that works beautifully in all interiors.
Paper prints should be hung out of direct sunlight whenever possible to preserve their quality. Canvas and metal prints are more durable, but all pieces will last a lifetime with basic care. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth if needed. Metal prints can be cleaned with glass cleaner and a soft cotton cloth.
Yes, since the image is infused directly into the metal, these prints are safe from moisture and can be displayed in outdoor or humid spaces without worry. A special outdoor coating can be added to metal prints that will be exposed to constant sunlight. Contact me for more info.
Ordering & Shipping
Each piece is custom made to the highest standards using the finest materials, so turnaround times vary slightly. Metal, canvas, and framed paper prints typically ship within 2 weeks, while unframed paper prints usually ship within a week. Because I personally fill each order, there are times when my travel schedule may cause a slight delay. If that happens, I’ll be in touch right away with an updated timeline. If you need your artwork by a certain date, just let me know; I’m usually able to accommodate special requests.
I take great care in packaging, but if something arrives damaged, please contact me right away and I’ll replace it at no cost to you.
I want you to be completely happy with your artwork. If for any reason it isn’t the right fit, returns and exchanges are accepted within 7 days of delivery. Customers may be responsible for return shipping. If your piece arrives damaged, I’ll replace it at no cost to you.
